Who for?

Adults

Psycheheal deals with adults primarily. When a diagnosis , that is eligible for reimbursement by your insurance company, is treated, you can be reimbursed by the health insurance company if you have a referral from your family doctor. Psycheheal does not offer reimbursable youth care. In an exceptional case, a teenager can be seen when parents pay for the treatment themselves. This needs to be discussed first! The adult target group is broad. Psycheheal is geared towards treating the following symptoms and target groups,  through extensive in-house expertise in these areas.

Processing bad experiences

there are many bad experiences that can cause psychological issues. Especially anxiety (about something similar happening again or if you have to go to a similar situation) and stress are common, but depression, negative thinking or irritability can also arise after an unprocessed unpleasant experience. It can be traumas such as a fire, an earthquake or a rape, but also failure experiences (e.g. a job application, internship, thesis, driving test or blackout at an exam), a bad delivery, a traumatizing hospital or doctor's experience, an accident, a loss, or a scary situation with an animal which lead you to develop an anxiety.

Difficulty with transitional phases in life

All kinds of transition phases in life can cause psychological problems. Think for example of the transition from high school to  university student, from studying to working, from moving to another country, from being employed to becoming unemployed, from being healthy to sick or disabled, from having a relationship to having children, from working to retiring, from living to dying. Psycheheal supports you.

Further information on the symptoms that psycheheal treats can be found under the heading 'Which Symptoms'.
