 Founder of Psycheheal, Marjan Krijgsveld, who treats adults, is a healthcare psychologist (GZ-Psycholoog) experienced in the field of student problems and psychological trauma.

Psycheheal treats and coaches grown ups dealing with psychological problems resulting from difficulty adapting to certain challenges in life or traumatic experiences. People tending to overthink and getting stuck with their feelings are especially welcome. Psycheheal has affinity and expertise with:

Psychological symptoms and challenges come in many shapes and sizes. Everyone has to deal with them every now and then. Depression, anxiety, worrying, stress, burnout, perfectionism, insecurity, low self-esteem, homesickness, mourning, procrastination or other avoidance behaviour and physical, life phase, adjustment, work-related, sleep and concentration problems are treated by Psycheheal. Some symptoms can be traced back to an unpleasant experience that has not yet been properly processed. At Psycheheal, this is quickly recognized and we help you process this faster with effective treatment methods.

During intake complaints will be mapped out and then we will together choose the treatment goal and the method to be used. Psycheheal offers Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other strength-oriented positive psychological methods, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), schemafocused and hypnotherapeutic techniques. We can work at reducing symptoms and stress, next to gaining strength and tapping into sources of support can be worked at. Besides the classical setting, it is possible to receive walking coaching or treatment.

Marjan made me feel safe. I find it difficult to discuss trauma in my life and she provided an atmosphere that allowed me to express myself fully and get to the root of my anxiety.
